In this episode we discuss one of the most well documented cases of reincarnation. This case has been featured in "The Unexplained" with William Shatner, along with The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres show, The Doctors, and (Chase's favorite) Dr. Phil. Will Ryan Hammons find out if he was in-fact Marty Martins in a previous life?? Come with us on this journey to unravel  the memories he claimed to have and the accuracy of them. Did this boy live twice? You'll just have to listen and see! Our rock of the week is Libyan Tektite. Stay Chaotic!

A special Thank You to Author Julia Pax for the inspiration to cover this amazing case, please download her book if you are interested in this subject!

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, once I start like getting into the editing, I'm like, oh yeah. It's when um it's when I accidentally hit no don't save changes and have to completely re-edit an entire episode.

SPEAKER_01

How many times has that has that happened?

SPEAKER_00

Three. It happened on the one we just posted as I was editing it, and I hit like I accidentally hit the X with my thumb on the screen, and the screen popped up, and I was like, what? No, I'm not exiting. And then it exited out, and then I pulled it back up and it started back at like the beginning, and I was like, oh fuck. I realized instantly that I did what I had done. Welcome to Condering Chaos, weird, to Witchy Weirdos with microphones. I'm Chase, and this is my co-host Allie. And I have a bitch of an itch on my left ass cheek. That's specific. And we're here to tell you something weird.

SPEAKER_01

Let's set the vibe.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, let's go ahead and take our deep breath in. And out. That sounded like a storm of Bruin. Ooh. The way that you made the fluff on our pop guard flutter in your wind. That's I love your words for that. That was so beautifully put together. I guess. Your wind sounds like a fart. It's I'm sorry, it's just pretty out there. I keep looking out the words.

unknown

My God.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not trying to distract you. These need a good shaky shaking up. Reach on in there. Gonna pull out a finger. I'm gonna pull a finger out. Oh my god. Why are they all up in each other like that? They're scissoring out. Look at that. Oh god. Oh. Okay. Anyways. Let's get our badass affirmations on for the weekend. Don't forget to put your fingers up. Hey, your fucks down. Our number of the week is 51.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, talking about fucking shaking that shit up.

SPEAKER_00

What? And I even like just reached in there randomly, pulled it out from the inside of another one, tacoed in there, nestled in all snug as a bug, and I still get 51.

SPEAKER_01

Life was like, no, you gotta do this in order.

SPEAKER_00

But how perfect that it's 50 for part one. Oh 51 for part two. Oh my god, that is so cute. Okay, so. Oh my gosh. Okay, okay, okay. I'm ready for this. You're ready for this, trust me. I sprinkle that fuck you energy everywhere I go. Oh fuck yeah. You know who this reminds me of?

SPEAKER_01

Who?

SPEAKER_00

Louie.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? I was gonna say the same thing, but I didn't want to be right, but yes. Sadly, that's the energy I wish I could walk around more with.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you know, honestly, I mean I enjoy being a nice person. Don't get me wrong. And I, you know, like I try to be a nice person too all the time. I feel like I do a decent job at it. But you know, sometimes, sometimes I do get jaded as fuck. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And you know what's worse though is like when pre people perceive you as being like a nice person, like kind like that, any little amount of upsetness that you get, it's like, what the hell is wrong with you? Like, why are you acting like that? And I'm like, it's everybody else can act like this all the time, and I can't act like this once without getting shit on.

SPEAKER_00

Yep, yep, yeah. And you know what the other thing is, is that sometimes niceness is perceived for weakness. Oh, yeah. And I had I really had to learn how to like really use my voice and find a space for my voice to have impact. And what I mean by that is like I had to learn how to project my voice properly, you know, like I'm a very nice person, and I learned that when I say things too tactfully, people are just like, oh, okay, that's just some feedback. But in reality, I mean, no, do that fucking thing that I said to do and quit jacking around and do your damn job.

SPEAKER_01

But like that makes sense when you tell me to start working on projects where I'm like, oh yes.

SPEAKER_00

No, for you, it is more of a recommendation. I'm not gonna be like, you're not doing the project. I mean, I wouldn't, I would be enthralled, you know, like I would be happy, but I'm not like expecting you to go put something into this project that is literally my project. That, you know, I'm gonna be honest. When we first started doing this, I was like, oh, she's doing this out of sympathy for me. No. But I'm starting to learn that you actually do have genuine interest in this and you enjoy being a part of this.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, it's you know, I think that's so crazy. And you know what? I need to stop making excuses for myself because I have a big thing of like, I get so tired, so overwhelmed that I'm just like, you know what? I'm just gonna put it off for later. I forget about it, and I'm just like, I'm not working on anything else. But at the same time, I'm like, and then I forget that I actually have joy in life. And it's like that when we make this podcast and we get to talk about these weird subjects, I'm like, it's it lights up that part of my brain. Yeah, it lights up that part of my brain that had that curiosity, and I'm like, oh, okay, like, yeah, let's keep doing it. And you need a laptop now so that you can do research and well, I'm I I have an iPad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well, the laptop is a lot easier because you can have like different tabs and stuff, and you can like switch over. And copying and pasting is easier when you have like a mouse situation as opposed to like your finger. Maybe we can lazy. Maybe we can if if you'd like to donate to the podcast. I don't think there's a way for people to do that, honestly, to be honest with you.

SPEAKER_01

We can make like stuff and sell it to people because that'd be fun too.

SPEAKER_00

I listen, I really want to make merch and I want to make stickers. I want stickers so bad. And I also want to have a um, I've contemplated on getting like an actual website, and I want to put a link on there to Erica's crystal shop. But I'm gonna be like conjuring crystals, and then it's gonna be like our friend Erica's Etsy shop. Yeah. Because I know she's very mindful about how she picks her crystals. She is, yeah. So um, what's chaotic in your life, Allie?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, actually, this is um a good amount of chaos. So I actually heard back and I am receiving a promotion uh for work. So um I'll officially be moving up to uh an assistant area manager, an area manager in training. In training? Yes, which should be fun. I've been doing a lot of the like similar work for it for probably a while.

SPEAKER_00

I would say longer than that when when my one store was in like absolute up in arms, upside down, closed two days a week and in like super restriction hours, um, and you were traveling there a couple days a week. You were starting on like experience for that, and they were already putting your name in for it back then.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, no, um, yeah, if so I finally I had the interview, and to be the the reason I say it's um like good calves is because during the interview I swore I fumbled. So so bad. I was in such uh like a foggy cloud space that I couldn't think of the answers that I wanted to give. When I was in the middle of my answers, it would like leave my mind, and then I I'd forget what I was talking about. Uh there were a few questions in there that pertained to the company that I should have known off of the top of my head because they should be the first thing that I'm thinking of when I make any decisions for my stores, and I just couldn't think of them. It happens, yeah. It was a rough, rough day. Luckily, I I'm like I'm glad that I they see something in me and that I can continue doing the work that I'm doing, and yeah, so um I know that it's gonna be chaotic coming up because there's just gonna be a lot more on my plate with like classes, working. I'm gonna be jumbling a lot altogether, but juggling? Juggling? Juggling, yes. Um, but yeah, I'm looking forward to it. What about you? What's uh what's been chaotic in your life lately?

SPEAKER_00

So um you were actually there for like my favorite chaos this week. So we went to go get a pizza earlier today in between recording sessions. And as we're walking up, first of all, Ali lives in this adorable little town. It's got all these like really cool architectural buildings around it, and they're like definitely old as fuck. And um, as we're like walking up to the pizza place, I see this sign that says haunt on it, and it's for like this little book store. And I'm like, I I really would like to go in there, but I don't want to be late to picking up the pizza. And she's like, it'll take us five minutes. So we go down into this little store, and first of all, presentation 10 out of 10. Like, it is so cute. We're gonna have to like totally put this on Tiggy Talk or something, but it is adorable. And like you go down inside and it's a little quaint little bookshop, and all of the books in it are related to something kind of unique.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So like they have this whole witchy section, they have like a haunted section, they have like the five nights at Freddy's books, they have like goosebumps. So they have like all the like spooky little it's so cute. Like all of the books are like some kind of spooky related. And then um, they also had like cute little, like they I saw this little figurine that was like a zombie dog, and they have this little like seating area in the middle in case you want to sit down and like read a piece of something to choose if you're gonna buy it or not. And I see a Bigfoot stuffed animal, and next to him, I see this adorable little mothman. And I just listen.

SPEAKER_01

It was an impulse.

SPEAKER_00

It was an impulse. I thought me something.

SPEAKER_01

You did not put it back down.

SPEAKER_00

As soon as I touched it, I needed it. It seemed I didn't care what the price tag said. I was like, you know what? I'm gonna support a business, and it wasn't even that expensive compared to other things. There was also a creature of the lagoon, blue lagoon.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. That he was so cute. That one was adorable. I need to go back for that one actually.

SPEAKER_00

We're gonna have to take a field trip down there at some point in time. We'll have to like take a little mini vacay and do like a fun day and a recording day. That'll be nice. So, yeah, that's my chaos. I found the most adorable Mothman stuff animal. I'm gonna have to post it. Oh my god, he's got a beanie butt. Here's beanies. I can hear them through the microphone. Anyways, he's so cute though. He's got like the fuzz around his neck, like an actual moth has.

SPEAKER_01

The wings are super cute.

SPEAKER_00

They are, they are so cute. And he's got little antennas and big red eyes. He look at his cute little fuzzy tail, little tiny fuzz butt. Anyways, so yeah, that's what's chaotic in my life is I got the most perfect mothman stuffed animal. He's one of my absolute favorite cryptids, too. I love it. I'm glad we were able to go into there real quick. I think the only thing that would have sparked a bigger reaction is a Fresno Nightcrawler.

SPEAKER_01

It's funny because I was gonna say the nightwalker or something.

SPEAKER_00

I don't want anything to do with the nightwalker. I don't know what it is, but it sounds like a night stalker, and I don't want anything to do with him either. The Fresno Nightcrawlers, they're so cute. Well, we're gonna have to do an episode on them one day.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I'm sure by this point people are just waiting for us to finish the the second episode of the part that we left off on. The second half of I know I I am anticipating the rest of this part two of Kevin Hammonds.

SPEAKER_00

Kevin of Ryan Hammonds. Kevin is his dad's name. Oh, we just gave that away. Yep. Spoilers. No spoilers. In our last episode, we talked about Ryan Hammonds, who is one of the most famous reincarnation cases. He's a boy from Oklahoma. He was born in 2004, and at a very young age started having nightmares and memories that they eventually, that they were eventually able to connect to Marty Martins, a Hollywood talent agent. And some of his memories were actually confirmed to be accurate. His claims, whatever you want to call them. Um, so first, important context, there is no single perfect transcription of every statement that Ryan ever made. And most claims came from his parents' early notes, interviews, and Dr. Jim B. Tucker's investigation from University of Virginia for the unexplained, and then the documentary, The Ghost Inside My Child, which by the way is a really good uh show. It's they've got plenty of seasons, seasons, episodes, and it's just really interesting how like specific some of these memories can get. So if you're really interested in reincarnation, I highly recommend The Ghost Inside My Child. If I remember correctly, I want I remember watching on Amazon Prime. So um, you know, plug, little plug for them. Um, so when people oversimplify this case, as everything he said was right, that's not actually accurate. Um, I believe it was something along the lines of like 40% of things were accurate, some things were like uh almost there, and then there was a bunch that was actually not able to be confirmed at all, whether it was accurate or not. So um, like most cases, uh, this one is mixed. Kind of like us. All right, this is a long, long list. So statements that were later supported accurate. Uh, these are the ones that researchers generally agree were confirmed after Ryan had said them, not beforehand. So um confirmed statements that he is the man in the photograph from the movie Night After Night. So they were able to confirm that he lived somewhere with the word rock or mount on it, in it in a street address. Couldn't find the actual name of the street, but they were able to confirm that he did live somewhere with rock or mount in it as a street address. They did confirm he was very rich. I mean, obviously you would expect a Hollywood talent scout to be.

SPEAKER_01

See, that pissed me off to know that I was rich and that I can get my money back.

SPEAKER_00

And now you're a six-year-old boy. Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

With no access to my money.

SPEAKER_00

Right, exactly. Um, there were three boys, and he did not think that the boys were his, but they gave him his name. If you remember at the beginning of the last episode, I had mentioned that he had said something about uh three boys that he adopted and gave his name to. So, um, and they did confirm that he had a daughter. They also confirmed that he brought coloring books home to his children, and he had trouble with his oldest stepdaughter. Apparently, she wouldn't listen because she didn't respect him.

SPEAKER_01

Um, some of the other claims that they had were that his mother had curly brown hair. He had a younger sister.

SPEAKER_00

To think to remember that.

SPEAKER_01

His mom's curly hair.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, to remember your mom's curly hair in another life. Like, that must be so like oh, I couldn't imagine.

SPEAKER_01

Well, the sibling part, I'd be kind of sad if I could remember my sibling and then like my siblings not here. Like, I miss them, you know? Uh he bought his daughter a dog when she was about six. Oh, he had a daughter?

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

She didn't like the dog. She didn't like the dog. He hated cats. He knew Senator Ives. That's the one that made him from the fives.

SPEAKER_00

That he called him fives.

SPEAKER_01

And I thought that was a guy from like a news anchor or something. Right. He used to see Senator Ives in New York. Uh, he had a green car. He didn't let anyone else drive the green car. He had many wives. His wife drove a nice black car.

SPEAKER_00

I'm just saying that if he was a Hollywood town scout who was rich, I would expect his wife to drive a nice car.

SPEAKER_01

Hell, if my husband was rich, I better be driving a nice car. Uh, he was an agent and he ran an agency.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, so he's a business owner.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The agency changed people's names.

SPEAKER_00

Oh. That's what I mentioned in the last episode that okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

He remembered working somewhere, people changed their names.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, man. He tap danced on stage in New York City.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, interesting.

SPEAKER_01

He saw the world on big boats where he danced with pretty ladies.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, interesting. So I do I do think that some of these we might end up going over in a little bit more detail later on down the road, but as we go on, he ate in Chinatown a lot, and his favorite restaurant was there. Sounds like a few people I know, actually. He had some friends who would love to be able to go to Chinatown all the time. He got skin burns in Hollywood. He went to Paris and saw the Eiffel Tower. Oh. I wonder if he went by plane or if that's what the big boats were where he danced with pretty ladies.

SPEAKER_01

Alright. Big boats, pretty ladies, Eiffel Tower.

SPEAKER_00

He took his girlfriends to the ocean. Oh. Interesting. He played the piano and owned one. Talented man. Okay. And remember, these are all claims or memories that he mentioned that were confirmed to be accurate. He had an African-American maid. You know, we're just gonna forgive him because he's now a six-year-old little boy.

SPEAKER_01

In current America.

SPEAKER_00

Well, now he would be 22. Because he was born in 04. Now he would be 22. So, well, it's the beginning of the year, so maybe 21. Oh, he's just able to drink now. Oh, I wonder if the if he gets a drinking, if he starts drinking, if he's gonna remember more. He knew Rita Hayworth and that she made ice drinks and he recognized her by photo. He knew that Mary Lady is who he referred to this person of. You couldn't get close to talk to her, he said. And by photo recognition, he recognized her as Marilyn Monroe. Oh right? Okay, this is where him and I kind of kind of go hand in hand. Bread was his favorite food. Love me some bread also had a sunglass collection. Um, he was a smoker and he had many girlfriends and affairs and never had problems, quote, getting the ladies. I was wondering when he said he took his girlfriends to the beach, if those were girlfriends that were were girlfriends that were before he married them or while he was married to someone else. And it seems like it was the second one.

SPEAKER_01

He liked to watch surfers on the beach. Okay. He owned guns.

SPEAKER_00

So maybe he was Southern. I mean, he's Californian. That's interesting.

SPEAKER_01

Uh he didn't have a TV when he was a little boy. They had radio first, I guess before TV was a thing. He hated FDR. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Interesting. Oh, it says a Democrat because um at one point I think they mentioned that he uh identifies as a Republican. Oh, and that he has since a very young age before he should have even known what that means.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Yeah. Oh, these are confirmed things about Hollywood and his career? Yes. Okay, nice. I know there's a lot of confirmation happening. Now we're gonna be going into more confirmation. But um, this uh this confirmations are gonna be from uh Hollywood and his career. So some things that they were able to verify were that quotes I used to be in Hollywood, Marty Martin lived and worked in Hollywood. I wasn't an actor, I worked with actors. Marty was a talent agent, not a performer. This distinction is notable because kids usually say actor if guessing. I worked in movies, Marty worked in the film industry, though behind the scenes. Some of the personal life confirmations included I had more than one wife. Martin was married multiple times.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, because he even mentions that he recognized a picture of his fourth wife.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. And then he did say that one of he said my wife was blonde, and one of Marty's wives was was blonde.

SPEAKER_00

Some places and details that were confirmed, descriptions of a Hollywood style house that he gave with a big, large swimming pool and a brick wall at the house. So the general layout details did match homes that Martin lived in, not exact blueprints, but like broadly consistent. And then he said that he traveled a lot, and it's interesting because Martin's work involved frequent travel. Because, you know, if you're doing talent scouting, you pretty much have to go anywhere that you could find talent, which is anywhere in the world. So about his death, he did mention, he said, my heart exploded. So he died of a cerebral. Hemorrhage and researchers consider this a child's interpretation of a sudden internal medical event rather than a literal heart issue. So that's why he said like his heart exploded. Hmm. I mean, like if you think about it, a hemorrhage is kind of like just blood coming out like crazy. So like if that happened really anywhere in the body, yeah, then a child might interpret it that way, you know. Or it might be the way it feels. Yeah. Because if your blood heart's just pumping blood out and none's coming in, then it's gonna start hurting and it's gonna feel like it's exploding. I assume. So statements that were actually incorrect, exaggerated, or not verifiable. So these are important because they show that the case isn't cherry-picked perfection. Some family relationships, um, Ryan occasionally misidentified relatives or their roles in the family. And then certain timeline details, a few events were placed in the wrong order or era. And for some very specific memories, a handful of claims couldn't be verified at all. And so researchers did not count on those as evidence. And of course, like memories also didn't seem like his only connection to Marty. He had similar personality, emotions, and behavior as well. Who would have been able to confirm that though? Um, historical document. Actually, I have some specific events that kind of like confirm that. Oh, okay. So when recalling his memories, he used a mature tone of voice. And one time he even told his mother, I am not the same as the man in the picture on the outside, but on the inside, I am still that man. Pretty, pretty intense for a four or six-year-old, you know. And he was haunted by the things that he couldn't remember. So, like when he couldn't remember things, it really bothered him. Most nights, his main concerns were what happened to the children, what is my mother's name, and what became of my sister. Oh. That's really sad.

SPEAKER_01

I'd wonder, yeah, like I said earlier, I'd wonder what happened to my sibling, or I'd miss I'm pretty sure I'd miss my sibling.

SPEAKER_00

Right. I wonder, I wonder if he had to go to therapy afterwards because of that. You know, they did say that his memories subsided, but like the feeling of Right, exactly. Like maybe the memories did, but like still remembering that you had that. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Like now it's documented.

SPEAKER_00

Right, right, exactly. So one time Ryan saw a cartoon that reminded him of the tap dancing that he said he had done in New York, and he began humming show tunes and tap danced, and he asked his mom to get him some tap shoes and started a routine in the middle of the floor saying tip tap tip tap as if keeping beat. Oh. And then he wanted to wear what he called agent clothes all the time, which was suits and dress shirts and ties with like black-rimmed glasses. And he would even take a pair of like 3D spectacles and pop the little lenses out and wear them like they were glasses. Oh my god. At a birthday party one time when he was four, he got all the kids together and directed to direct them for his quote movie. And he yelled at the adults that he needed help because it was hard to quote act and direct a major motion picture at the same time. And then, of course, he also said that he really liked going to restaurants in Chinatown. And the first time that his parents took him to a Chinese restaurant, he used chopsticks perfectly without even being shown how. Oh wow, that's that's a cool talent. Yes. Speaking of Chinese restaurants, you know those little mini corns that they have in the food? Yeah, those are like my favorite part of Chinese food. And speaking of mini corns, I have a mini corny, amazing joke for you. Oh nice. Yeah, so where do animals go when their tails fall off?

SPEAKER_01

I uh don't like the look on your face. The retail store.

SPEAKER_00

You know what? That was some great sound effect work there. Good.

SPEAKER_01

We need that button, by the way.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I will look for a button that makes the debumps noise for you, Allie. Yep. That was some classic Michael Winslow voice work you did there.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, good, good, good. Back to our regular programming. Why researchers still consider the case strong? Dr. Tucker and others did not argue that Ryan was 100% correct. Instead, they pointed to the number of accurate statements, their specificity, the fact that several were unlikely guesses for a toddler.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, that makes sense though.

SPEAKER_01

And the early documentation before verification.

SPEAKER_00

Right, because his parents didn't do any kind of coercion.

SPEAKER_01

They just like, in fact, tried to shut it down for and then even the doctors tried to give uh Ryan information without giving the information to his parents at all.

SPEAKER_00

Well, when they did tests, they didn't they made sure his parents didn't have accur information, couldn't have information beforehand.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Ryan also commented on what happened when he died. There was an awesome light he knew he should go towards, but he said everyone came back in a new body to live again.

SPEAKER_00

Aw.

SPEAKER_01

That's I love that thought. Yeah. When he died, he went to a waiting place. Ryan told Cindy he had seen her from heaven and he had known her from an earlier life. He said he chose her as his mother's so that he could take care of her in this life. Other things he said about this process. You go into a room with numbers on the door before dying. Before dying? Oh. I'm not five. I'm closer to 105 when I was here before. He would have been 106. He died at age 61.

SPEAKER_00

Oh wow. Oh whoa. He would have been 106 and he says I'm closer to 105.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So he he guessed kind of like his uh his age range. That is very that is way too close. Ryan said he remembered being in Cindy's womb and asked why she wanted him to be a girl so bad. Fun fact, Cindy really, really wanted to have a girl. Ryan added he'd seen her cry for a long time when she learned that he was going to be a boy. Saying to her, This doctor guy did a test and told you I was a boy. You got mad and said he was wrong. You just knew that I was going to be a girl. Mommy, it was daddy's birthday. You went to a restaurant afterwards to eat and you cried for a very long time. Cindy soon regretted it and was so embarrassed that she rarely talked about it, but she couldn't deny what Ryan had said was accurate. Wow. I that's crazy to me, right? Yeah. No, all of this has been pretty crazy. So I mean, now it begs the question like to the listeners, what do you think?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we want to hear your opinions, all of your opinions. Send them with conjuring chaos podcast at gmail.com. You can put in the subject the Ryan Hammond's case or reincarnation or y'all are stupid, whatever you want to put, we'll read it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Glad no, seriously, if you guys have like opinions too on past life or past life regression, and that whole topic. Um, I always think it's an interesting topic.

SPEAKER_00

I that's one of my favorite things. As soon as someone every time someone sends me one of those TikToks, I'm like locked in. I'm like, do I send a message to the mom about being interviewed on our podcast? I do. I'm not brave enough sometimes, but one day sometimes I comment. That being said, we have our our rock of the week for you here. So this one looks like a big old glob of honey.

SPEAKER_01

It really does. I like it. I like how a lot of these rocks have been just reminding me of candy and food. Oh, I was gonna read this wrong. Um, so this is uh Libyan gold tectite.

SPEAKER_00

I can only imagine what you were going to think. Libyan tectite.

SPEAKER_01

I had a feeling. What is Libyan gold tectite, you might ask? A Libyan gold tectite is a 28 million-year-old Sharon Desert Glass, only found in you guessed it, the Sahara Desert. Oh. This gem is yellow but far from mellow. Who needs it? The navel gazing and brooding. Does that mean looking at people's belly buttons? I have no idea. That's what I would think. Alrighty.

SPEAKER_00

Or maybe navel, like navy? How's that spelled? An A-V-E-L. That's a navel, right? I'm so confused. Continue.

SPEAKER_01

Binge watchers. Anyone looking to hit the street with some extra swagger. Cancers.

SPEAKER_00

Oh god. You know why? You know why? Let me tell you something. Some people don't like Scorpios. You know, you know who's toxic? Cancers. That's yep. You ever met a cancer you like?

SPEAKER_01

Um, no. Most of the time I wish it would just go away so nobody would ever get it again.

SPEAKER_00

I love you for that, Jim.

SPEAKER_01

But um, yeah, also the astrology symbol.

SPEAKER_00

Don't be able to do it. Don't anymore. We don't hate anybody. Just don't be a textbook cancer.

SPEAKER_01

You're not a textbook Scorpio, so I'm very intense.

SPEAKER_00

Just not a I'm not mean. Or a whore. Silence. No, I'm not. No anymore. I never really was, but I've always been a big flirt. That might be it. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong. Maybe I've just been flirting with you this whole time and you didn't even know it. Oh no, I knew it.

SPEAKER_01

Um, where should we put this story?

SPEAKER_00

Okay, continue.

SPEAKER_01

Where to put it? Hold Libyan Gold Tech Tite or this card at your will center, just above the navel. Okay, so it is talking about your belly buttons. And set some goals. People like looking at each other's belly buttons. I guess so. You know, people's belly buttons are kind of cute. They look like buttholes to me. Sometimes seriously, make a list. Then call on the fiery beyond ancient energy of this stone to help you break through the burning desire to binge watch the day away. When to use it when your get up and go has ghosted you. I mean your get up and go has gone up, gone up and gone. What is the uh quote for this one? Banish your blahs.

SPEAKER_00

Nice.

SPEAKER_01

I like that.

SPEAKER_00

And this is the labiastone?

SPEAKER_01

This is the labias stone. Lib lib labi Libyan.

SPEAKER_00

Libyan gold tectite. Tektite is a type of glass that is caused by meteor impact. Did you know this? That's cool. So the meteor impact of the Sahara Desert, and that's where this rock comes from. That's my understanding. Tektite is usually caused by meteor impacts. I feel like we've read that on another tectite card before. We may have. It sounds familiar. Yeah. I think that's all about we have for today, right? You know what we didn't do?

SPEAKER_01

What didn't we do?

SPEAKER_00

We didn't uh see if we're gonna give any abstract advice. Go ahead and flip a coin. Alrighty. This one says yes. Fuck yeah. Tell me how many.

SPEAKER_01

It's one. One. One less good one.

SPEAKER_00

Alright, alright. I'm gonna flip through and you put your finger in there when you're ready. Oh, you want me to read it? Yeah. Some doors only open for people carrying snacks and bravery. You're always carrying snacks. And you're a brave person. People say that about me. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I believe you're I do agree that I always bring snacks. I do agree that I always bring snacks, yes. Yeah. In fact, my boyfriend even makes fun of me because of my love for snacks. There was this video of a child just bawling on Facebook one time, and the child was going, snacks. And he sent it to me, and they were just repeating snacks over and over again, and then she's like screaming, bawling. And he sent it to me and he goes, This is you. I agreed. Like, yeah, that's that's me. Definitely me. 100%. You can go get yourself some snacks now because that's all we have for you this week.
